“YouTube offline is just a start. We h ope to keep finding better ways to make video content more affordable and accessible to our growing base of YouTube mobile users in the region,” said Jay Akkad, YouTube product manager for Asia Pacific.
You can save any video from YouTube (some videos might not be available yet) in your device in two qualities (Normal - 360p and HD - 720p). The cached video will be available in your smartphone for next 48 Hours and will be removed from cached videos after that.
By default, YouTube App will only cache videos when you are connected to WiFi, but you can change this in settings.
